Featured Listing: 625 Mayflower, Lincoln Park

Sometimes you have to look past the surface to find a good value.  This Lincoln Park home is listed for $34,900 which is a good price for the neighborhood.  But, you say, it is only a one bedroom.  That's because it had some work done inside converting it from a two-bedroom house.

Some minor cosmetic work, but it looks like it's in good shape.

681 square feet.  The home also features a back deck, swing, and a one-car garage.  The basement is partially finished.  The decor might be old, but the electric is updated and everything looks like it is in good shape.  This would be a good starter home, and you could repaint as you go along.

The decorating looks a little dated, which is no big deal since you probably are going to change it anyways.  Since the home was built in 1950, I'd bet there are hardwood floors under the carpeting.

The paneling and crutches have to go, the fireplace stays.  BTW, this is in the basement, which is partially finished.

The home is listed by Raymond Lemons of Re/Max.  You can get his contact info and schedule a showing by following the link below.
