Yes, home prices in metro Detroit are still going up, and going up faster than the national average. Of course, they are still well below national averages and still 25% below peak. Still, this continues the positive trends.
Incidentally, the article from the Freep notes a shortage of available inventory locally as part of the reason for the higher prices. There certainly is a shortage of choices out there these days.
