He may still be one of the most unpopular people in the world around metro Detroit, but Claude Lemieux had a very good NHL career and was paid enough money playing hockey to live the good life. Now he has unloaded the Phoenix-area home he used when he played for the Coyotes in the twilight of his career. We've got lots of pictures and snarky comments.
Here is a good stretch of floor for him to fall to and cover his head up if Darren McCarty ever showed up. There's even a rug to help with the cold stone tile. Claude thought of everything.
Here is the den, where there is a HUGE screen to watch replays of that Avalanche-Red Wings fight.
A library? Who would have guessed?
The jacuzzi in the master suite is awesome, though.
The home, with five bedrooms and 7,300 square feet of living space, sold for $2.9 million recently. So Claude can't hide out here any more.
